Perspectives for urban mobility, sustainable urban growth and the transformation of energy were among the themes of the 3rd Hamburg Copenhagen Business Forum that was held in Hamburg at the end of February.
BIC Electric and 200 business representatives from Denmark and Germany explored the business opportunities within the neighbouring German market.
The trip confirmed that Germany is a relevant market for us, but it especially opened my eyes to the regional market around Hamburg – a very competitive city that is going through a period of strong development. I see strong perspectives for BIC supporting construction companies on projects in Hamburg, says Sales Manager of BIC Electric, Maj Winther Møller.
The 3rd Hamburg Copenhagen Business Forum was organized by Hamburg Chamber of Commerce together with the Danish-German Chamber of Commerce, where we have been member since the beginning of the year. Among the speakers were Tech Ambassador of Denmark, Carsten Klynge, and director of The Confederation of Danish Industries, Karsten Dybvad, convincing about the importance of Germany as a neighbouring export market.
The second day of the Forum offered possibilities to visit local businesses and get valuable new contacts and insights to the local business environment. The tour confirmed our strategy to increase the number of projects in Germany and contributed with contacts and tools to fuel the potential of BIG growth in Germany.
