A Polish eagle has landed on the North Sea
In 2012 the Polish-Scandinavian company group BIC Electric won a tender to carry out electrical service and maintenance on the oil rigs of Maersk Oil and Gas in the Danish North Sea.
One of the reasons for choosing BIC Electric was that they could prove high quality and great focus on the environment and safety at work in accordance with ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007.
Skilled and competent employees
”BIC Electric has now worked on the oil rigs in the North Sea for a year and they have proven that their employees have what it takes to meet the great demands made by Maersk Oil and Gas regarding quality and safety at work when working offshore”, Head of Construction in Maersk Oil and Gas A/S, Bruno Hansen says.
Salary rules and regulations are observed
”Looking at the future cooperation with BIC Electric, we are optimistic. We have seen in practice that they are skilled, flexible and hard-working. Together with external auditors we have verified that everything is under control regarding quality and work environment as well as the fact that BIC Electric’s employees are paid according to current salary rules and regulations”, he concludes.
On their way towards new markets
“Having gained some experience on the Danish rigs the past years, we are now ready, in BIC Electric to move further and try our luck with the offshore industry in the rest of the world”, Managing Director of BIC Electric, Jens-Chr. Møller states.
